Almost certainly not. There are few jobs in this town to begin with, and even fewer jobs for college graduates. Plus, once they graduate, they won't be able to live in the cheaper college dorms. It's almost a certainty they will graduate and move back home, or at the best find a job somewhere they can just afford to live.
You don't hold it against them. After all, you're the one graduating late.
Besides, college only lasts so long.
